+1^^ My exact reasons for not getting one, plus we almost never use them other than raising it to vent on a hot pretty day.

Mine was accepted at the dealer the day I posted my thread, and then when you said your dealer callled saying your order had been accepted, I got excited and thought you meant GM had picked up your order to be built earlier than I was expecting. Lol! Oh well, a little wishful misunderstanding on my part.
