So I was wondering what the general consensus is on here about "body kits". I've noticed that nowadays side rockers and splitters seem to be more popular. I remember being a youngin' and how wide body kits were in demand. Is it a niche market? A fad that has past? An acquired taste?

How do you all feel about them? I've included a picture of what I am referring to and a reference picture for what I usually see around here and other places.
