Definitely. I have had the same problem in just about every GM vehicle I've bought over the last several years. It has to do with the fluid they put in for the new build and the break in process. There is an anti-friction additive that needs replaced at about 500 miles or so sometimes sooner.
Like I said, this is not anything new but a dealer that tries to say it is 'Normal' is not worth his franchise.
