For me and many, "handling" isn't just how it goes around corners, handling also includes traction. So whether you plan to race or not, do realize lose of traction can be attributed to wheel hop just the same. As a few have already mentioned, when the bushings distort due to power, once the wheel hops once, you can light the tires up.
Kinda counter active achieving traction.
Also tire choice and compound could play a role as well as psi in said tire.
I've checked and all you mentioned was you have a 315 tire in the rear now. No brand or psi was mentioned.

The tires are 305 nitto 555 G2s
Cannot remember the psi, I can check in a few hours
This tire is much better than the mickey Thompson sport comp I had on her at first but once it is time to change I'll probably ask for recommendations and go for something with more stick.
