There is power loss by having to go through the drivetrain (transmission, driveshaft, differential, wheels). The 335 is the raw power made by an engine not turning any of those things, just itself at the flywheel or crank.

When you add accessories (air conditioning, anything the drive belt has on it) is robbing power because engine is spinning it (drag) and then the drivetrain also has resistance.

A manual transmission car has less drivetrain loss than an automatic typically. Less resistance from the manual than automatic.
