ORACLE ColorSHIFT DRLs, Demon Eyes, & Fog Lights Installation

On 11/25 I ordered the following ORACLE Lighting through NFC Performance:

1x 2016-2017 Chevy Camaro ORACLE ColorSHIFT DRL 3982-334 (part# includes 2.0 Remote)
1x ORACLE "Demon Eye" ColorSHIFT Projector Illumination Kit 8529-333
1x Backlit ColorSHIFT Fog Lights (V6) - 1293-333
1x ColorSHIFT 2.0 Remote

They do have the DRL and Fog Lights, but not on their website yet. I emailed them and customer service was very prompt with answers to my questions and created 2 custom items for me to click on and checkout. They even responded on Thanksgiving about the availability of the fog lights! I missed the pre-order deal on these from the other company, and they took 9 days to respond to my question about the fog lights.

So I will hopefully be installing them this weekend. I am in the planning stage of making sure I have all the tools, where to put the 2.0 controller, how to get through the firewall, and whether to power the controller through the parking lights or put on their own power. I will post pictures of everything and try to take some video as well.

I spent the last 2 hours with the hood up and both doors open looking for a good (easy) place to come through the firewall. I've read the Gen5 has a stopper that can be pushed out to bring wires through to the cabin. So far, I haven't found anything like that on my Gen6. I have a V6 but I've heard the SS has a sound tube that people are removing that could possibly be used to get into the cabin - can't say since I don't have that. I did trace where the hood pull cable goes into the engine bay, and it's it feeds through a rubber piece that can be "pulled" into the cabin to make a hole for wiring. I think that is the best spot so far since they really sealed up the Gen6. If anyone has any suggestions or knows of an easier access on a V6, please let me know.

I will be using Lethal's video How To on Removing the Front Bumper.

I will update as I progress... here's a picture of the lights in their packages.
