I had to edit this after looking at a picture - I'm pretty sure the two little bars are still there.
Also I highly doubt that the GM strut tower brace accessory that they sell will fit over the SC. Don't worry, I don't think it does a whole lot in this car. I doubt it's worth the extra weight up front. It's definitely not like the rear-end and I'm personally not noticing any difference.
