I traded a 13 ZL1 M6 for a 2SS A8. My ZL1 was stock other than a massive HX cooling upgrade and CAI. My first SS pass beat my best ZL1 pass...100% stock

I traded because the SS....

- has everything I loved about the ZL1. MRC, HUD, NPP, fast!
- NA is better than SC. Hot temps brought the ZL1 down. Hence the cooling upgrade.
- A8 that cracks off shifts and that insane performance shift mode. M6 was a bitch in the ZL1
- lighter, smaller more nimble. The gen5 always felt big and wide to me
- interior that is 20x better as is infotainment. The seats are the most comfortable.
- has dual zone, seat preset, heated/ventilated seats, lighting, etc.
- fuel economy average of 21.8 mpg for my total of 6,100 driven so far.

This SS is my daily driver and I think it's the best car I've ever owned. I love the ZL1 too but it was a 2k miles per year car (toy) and I drove a M6 GTO daily. I thought often of using the ZL1 as a driver but the economics suck (fuel, tires, brakes) and the SS is really the better car.
