Most all seasons are OK for a few inches. I'd even go as far as checking their rating for snow on tire rack.

Last year though I opted for blizzak snow tires and it was the better choice. Cause a few inches plowed vs a few inches unloved can make a huge difference. And that's just in the mid Atlantic.

Now I will say I ran continental dws the year before that. Trips to Philly and wv during snow storms want n issue...so if you're only an 1/8 mile drive. Shouldn't be an issue.
