I took delivery on my A8 V6 RS-package (a 39 mo lease) in May and was planning on testing the rubber out in the winter before shelling out for snow tires.

I live on a boarding school campus in CT, so yes it snows, but my "daily commute" is about 1/8 of a mile, so I don't need Jeep-like performance.

Here's my question: how reasonably can I get around town in a few inches of snow with the all-seasons that came with my car?

... and before someone says it... Yes, the Vitesse will get turned down.
