IMO depends on the car. I do like the high gloss black on some cars or colors but the semi or flat just looks cheap like a plasti dip (which i tried and tore off within 18 hours). I've seen my car with both and prefer the silver. Maybe getting old (33 lol) and like the clean look or the black on everything is just played out.
