I did have my best 60' just smashing the gas as some have stated, it was marginally better at 1.88 vs 1.93. The car also spun and wheel hopped so harder on the equipment vs. me loading up on the brakes to about 1200RPM jumping off the brake and going to the floor with the throttle.
I'm starting to wonder if the launch control instructions in the manual aren't 100% correct, of if GM just kinda noticed the car would do that during testing and called it launch control. My runs where I gently apply the brake and bring the RPMs up to 1200 or so are drama free no spin launches.

My love affair with stock rubber comes from being cheap. I also like to prove what can be done with a car the way it rolls around every day. I am an old street racer so I want to know worst case scenario what the car can run. Plus if I can run with the DR guys on the stock rubber I feel better about myself. Lol. I get to take some pride in my driving skills.
I have tried a ton of stuff on the stock rubber. The technique I listed is the best for me and another guy that cuts 11.75's consistantly and had gone 11.83@116.8 bone stock. I think he has gone well into the 7.50's in the 1/8th. 24psi, light burn out, 2K stall, off break and onto the gas. Just hold on from there.
