Well at least your dealer acknowledged it. Mine claimed they didn't notice anything and they had my car 3 days. The groan is so loud that it is impossible to not notice it. It does go away after driving for a while but I'm just not sure the rear is even performing correctly. It seems too tight in turns and I think that will cause problems when the road is slick. There are way too many people with this problem for GM to just ignore it.
