My first foray into the world of hydro-dipping.
Went with a dipmykit 2.5meters of silver and clear carbon fiber - black base coat.
I plan to do a couple of the trim pieces in the cabin of the car in this pattern when i add my uberSpectrum lighting. Not sure if i'll use it in the engine bay or a different pattern. ....anyways...
Had to wet sand the bejesus out of the pieces to remove the texture significantly before applying the pattern. This meant I had to buy more black base coat and I picked up more clear too because what you're given is not enough.
Below are a couple pics of the pieces drying after their initial rinse. No clear applied yet.
