I was thinking about this slip sensation you guys are describing and then I remembered watching video of the initial reviews for the Ferrari 488, it has something called SSC (Side slip angle control) which softens the dampers in the rear to help find traction under load. The reviewers (more than one) described a sensation that sounds similar to what you are talking about. Then I remembered that the 488 has very similar MRC dampers from Delphi, maybe SSC (or something very similar in code base) is just a software enhancement that can be added to any Delphi MRC deployment and not necessarily proprietary to Ferrari.
