The stock brakes are just fine for almost all of us other than the real track rats. Pads, lines and fluid will make up a lot of the difference before moving to the 6-pistons.

MOST aftermarket rotors are not worth it...particularly the ones with holes. Holes are just terrible they make the rotor so much more susceptible to failure. Slotted is "fine" but not really proven to increase performance in all applications. The only two rotor improvements that have been proven to be beneficial all around are:

1. Ventilated rotors (release heat better)
2. 2 piece rotors (aluminum hat and iron ring that touches the pads)...saves weight, more uniform expansion and keeps the heat away from the wheel bearings because iron and aluminum don't transfer heat to each other effectively.

Great info, thanks! Made up my mind. Will just do fluid and pad swap instead
