Isn't the z51 vette dry sump? Not sure of that makes a difference. At any rate, I used to only run Mobil 1 15w50 in my cars here in Phoenix that I ever ran at a track just to be on the safe side. I'll sacrifice a bit of parasitic loss for better lubrication. I'love probably go that route again.
