So few people have tested intakes on the lgx that it's not clear what benefit they provide over stock (especially after some time for any ecu coding to adapt). Bigger filter will improve air flow and that tends to be good but beyond that....who knows.
Not sure you've looked at the engine closely but you'll notice that the "DP" can't be replaced with headers so I'm not sure what improvement you'll be looking to make over the stock pipe leading to the cats.
Nobody's really even taken these to the track yet. The overall thus-far, all your boltons that you can think of outside of a power-adder has had minimal if any effect on power. Whenever anyone has said that they can feel a difference, they come back a week later saying it's gone. Meh, lots of anecdotal he said, she said when it comes to the LGX and very little scientific testing.

This!
Based on the way the exhaust is done on this engine you aren't going to see any power increases.

Notice it's just a single exhaust port. No headers for our cars and a cat back would probably just change up the sound of your car. Do you have the NPP exhause? Because there is chevy "performance" exhaust for the LGX. Think Glenn E had them installed on his car.
I have a ported throttle body and ported/filled intake manifold. I felt that there was some unlocked power. Been waiting on a CAI before a trip to the dyno to do some A/B testing.
I think the general consensus is that there won't be much more power available short of running a supercharger or turbos.
