Based on reading this forum, I gather there isn't much in the way of aftermarket upgrades for the V6, so I'm guessing that this tuner is offering custom parts--and you would probably be among the first to experience them, aside from the owners of the completed V6s that you saw.

Are you tuning for power, aesthetics, or some other objective? If it's aesthetics, and you like the way it looks/sounds/feels, then it would just come down to price and whether you're concerned about warranty implications.

Was your VW a turbo? If your tune included a flash, I gather that you saw very good gains, and that you're aware that the NA V6 isn't likely to gain anywhere near the same amount with just bolt-ons, or even bolt-ons with a flash. Some would argue that bolt-ons without a flash might not produce any material gains at all--but this only matters if you're tuning for power.

Also, when you say "DP", does this mean downpipe? I haven't heard of replacing specifically this on a non-turbo engine before, would be interested in the benefit.
