I'm in the GS vs 1LE boat...

For me it's come down to 2 big arguments...

First is value/smiles/performance per dollar ...
$45k before discount (and I'm getting supplier on either car) for a 1LE, and $76k for a GS (2LT trim + options I want) 60% more
Is the GS going to be 60% better performing? 60% more fun? I kinda doubt it really. I also feel that a set of brake pads and PSC2 tires on a 1LE would put it basically nipping at the heels of a (non Z07) GS everywhere but in a straight line because of weight.

Second is basically options/ameneties...
I feel like this argument would go away completely if they made a 2SS 1LE, as I'd like heated/vented seats, nav, and a nicer stereo. I know it'd add weight, but I like that stuff and this is my only car so the idea of having it would be nice. Specifically an upgrade stereo, dual zone (since the GF is always colder than me). Basically all the stuff the GS has and the 1SS doesn't even offer.

Ultimately I'm likely to order a 1LE this week as upgrading speakers is easy enough, and I can likely use the phone's nav with android auto. Maybe I can figure out a way to get ZL1 heated/vented recaros to work in a 1LE someday too haha. And $30k extra goes a long way with my business and mods, etc.
