However, I intend to go forced induction in the future and am slowly building up to see the best gains I can from that. Cold Air, then exhaust and headers, then SC and tune, possibly with a few experiments en route.

If I were keeping otherwise stock, I wouldn't drop $400+ on a cold air intake. I don't think the car needs it, and the gains are not noticeable from the drivers seat. They WILL be noticeable if you apply it to forced induction, as the OEM system will then become a restriction - it's simply not designed to flow that much air because it doesn't need to. That isn't to say the stock system won't work with an SC - it absolutely will! But you'll get much larger gains with an aftermarket system at that point.

Anyway, my advice would be to grab a drop-in filter if you're just looking for something you don't need to change for a while. If you have money to burn or want to go much further in the future, then the Roto-Fab is great and won't be a disappointment. It's certainly a great piece of dress-up.

That being said, I have my money on the Roto-Fab. I would say the AFe unit is a good contender but I won't buy it until I see some dyno sheets.
