Your insurance premiums will likely change once repair data comes in bulk and is analyzed. Claims come in. Repairs cost more than steel counterparts. Rates go up. Not to mention comparing your rates to another driver isn't necessarily apples to apples.

FWIW a good chunk of people on the F150forum actually had their rates go down with the aluminum body F-150, others stayed the same and a few went up. I think the thought that rates would go way up was overblown
