There is no such thing as "extra clear coats" at a dealership. Unless they're going to take it to the body shop and charge you thousands of dollars. They are probably talking about dealer 'sealants"that are added on by people that are untrained and you should stay as far away from them as possible. They are a dealer profit center. I was a general manager of a dealership and sold them myself. They cost the dealer pennies and they charge you a ton. Much easier to go to the maintenance /cosmetics section here and read about sealants and coatings. I have written documents to tell you how to seal your car for people exactly like you, that don't want to spend all day doing it ,and don't want to spend hundreds of dollars doing it. Feel free to read my documents or go read about other people's experiences here, it's easy to do these days, detailing is not a weekend project anymore, it is literally hours to do it right.

Here is the results of my easy way, see what others are saying.

If you want to do a ceramic coating, (not sealant)...I recommend CquartzUK, it works very well, it's easy to do , watch some YouTube's on application. You will put it on in my method instead of the black fire Crystal seal.

But I am curious as to what the dealer means by " extra clear coats". Could you ask him to describe the process in which he puts it on?
