I have inquired about obtaining a brace for me 2016 2SS and the answer I received it that GM has not released them for after market sale YET. But here is the way around that answer: The 2016/17 CONVERTIBLES come with the strut tower brace already installed as well as two or three other additional braces UNDER the car to add the stiffness taken away from the car because there's no roof. So simply ask you Chevy dealer to order you a strut tower brace for a convertible and install it yourself when it comes in or you can have them do it.

Chevy claims that the coup SS doesn't need the brace because it is already stiff enough even for heavy track work but I say it CAN'T hurt to add it - you can never have too much stiffness.
