Does anyone know if the factory stripes are above or below the clearcoat? I'm considering buying a '16 hyperblue 2SS with black factory stripes that I'd like to remove, but I'm concerned, the car is a '16, and has likely been baking in the SoCal sun for quite some time. Even if they can remove them (they feel just like raised stickers above the clear coat), I'm wondering about paint fade-lines and differences in surface appearance. Has anyone here removed them?
