Thanks for the reply. I sent apg an email and kevin go right back to me. he said the kit release will not drag on and fully expects it to be out in a few months. He also thinks the price will be around $7k without tuning or fuel system and i would bet that is with less turbo that i will want. he said i am not the only person looking to get over 1000rwhp with one of these cars.

he suggested i get a built motor in the car while i am waiting. that does seem like a good idea BUT I really like to see how much i can do with minimal mods. i know a turbo kit is a major mod but i would have a lot of fun seeing how quick i could get it on a stock longblock in a car with just a turbo kit(fuel system+tuning) and some sticky tires.

speaking of a built motor. a forged everything 416 looks sweet but going the other way what is the minimum? i am thinking drop in replacement forged pistons, mild cam with dod delete and larger fuel lobe, head studs, good valve springs, maybe cnc the stock heads since that appears to be only $700. what am i missing for a cheap build?
