cracked bolt? you mean cracked linkage piece? that's the only suspension tsb I've heard of.

I checked the date code on mine, i'm safe for that "recall".

i'll do my own fan module "fix" .. Not giving the dealer my car for a day to silicone up a power connector.

The A8 thing seems like something I wont be able to avoid going to the dealer for. That sounds like a multi-day downtime fix. And if it's across the board for A8's ...that's a lot of transmission work. Lots.

Will be keeping an eye out for that one.

Would be funny if it was the source of the initial throttle hesitation.
