Be careful with the aluminum pedals if the soles of your shoes are wet. I've found that it can be quite easy to have your left foot accidentally slide off the clutch pedal under those conditions. Rubber pedals might not look so cool, but they do afford you better grip with less chance of sliding off when you're not expecting to!
