Manual technique question

So I've had my M6 for a few months and have logged 9000 miles. I've owned manual vehicles in the past but just had something come up I was curious about. Basically, when depressing the clutch I use a sharp full leg motion to push it to the floor. While releasing the clutch, I do let it slide just a bit under my shoe, which allows for a much smoother release than a full leg lift. I noticed the rubber pedal is wearing down... Easily replaceable, just curious if anyone had thoughts, comments, etc. One other thing for clarification, on the release, I'm not allowing it to slide slowly enough for it to "ride the clutch," simply enough play under my shoe for it to be a smooth transition from engaged to disengaged. Anyone else had this issue? Might be time for metal pedals! Name: image.jpg
