Only thing that is annoying about Android auto (other than it wants to be overly nanny-tastic) is really a problem that affects Android in general and that's that Google forces their stupid - annoying - network TTS voice regardless of what TTS voice you have selected locally on your device for certain Google applications (including maps and android auto).
I want the voice i selected google! Not your stupid robot chick.
Also, google maps is great and all but they refuse to implement persistent saving of options for things like "avoid toll roads". It's literally 1 minute change to make that persistent but after 5 years of people requesting this they have still refused to implement it. Luckily waze supports it. So there is hope.
