Trying to put together a cruise out to the NW part of the state around Galena. Date is to be determined, but sometime in the next few weeks. This will be on a Sunday, with a fairly early meet time of 0745 in Hampshire. Depart about 8:15 or so. From there we make our way NW hitting mostly backroads.
Straight line speeds are speed limit + 10, corner speed is usually 1.5-2x posted recommended speeds. If you live in the city and drive grid all day, this is a great opportunity to really to exercise the car (and driver). Round trip from the city is usually around 350-400 miles. Last time I left the house at 7am, and was back around 5.
