October-January are traditionally the best time of the year to buy a car. The closer to the holidays the more people are out shopping for gifts and other deals and are not visiting car lots so sales usually drop off significantly and some dealers can be willing to give better deals just to get a sale. If you want the absolute best deal on a 2017 1LE my guess is you will be better off looking next year around this time for a left over 2017 model. However you can still get a good deal even when ordering a car. The Costco car buying program is usually invoice or even under invoice depending on the model if you do not want to haggle, or if you are ok with haggling you can get several dealerships to compete for the best price, just make sure they have an allocation before you sign anything or put down a deposit.
