Anyone else absolutely hate the skip shift from 1st to 4th on the new Camaro? I have this message pop up on my dash every single time I drive it. Unless I hit it hard from the start I get the message..
If I'm behind a vehicle or say I'm just taking my time it is an obvious shift from 1st to 2nd gear, but in the manual it states that when the message appears it is harmful to the transmission if not shifted to 4th gear. Why in the world would I shift to 4th gear at 15 mph just to shift back...don't want to hurt my transmission, and I hear there is a way to get it removed for cheap. Any ideas? Suggestions?

Also it states in the manual not to "force" it in to second gear You don't have to force it as it will go most of the time. sometimes it will naturally slide over to 4.
