PCM power control module

Okay, here's a picture of the brains behind the Camaro SS.

I was downloading a tune, the tune froze. I guess you can say I had a useless brick sort of speaking regarding my PCM.

I thought I would share this with the Camaro community incase anyone runs into this sort off mess that happened to me. I am not a trained mechcanic or professional tunner, but I am not scarred to take apart engines or fix my own car. I will not name the company or manufacture of the product I used because they did reprogram my PCM at no cost to me. Just had to let my car sit in the garage for almost two weeks.

If you ever have to get to your PCM reprogramed first unhook battery. Then take off upper case of fuse box and unhook wires, you will then have access to your PCM. Unplug the 3 connectors that are all colour coded. Pull up gently and outwards your PCM will then slide out. It's not hard at all. I took pictures before I unhooked anything and that helped.

I received my reprogramed PCM today and installed it a few hours ago. Car roared back to life, and test drive was great. Not worried about my GM Warranty in the future if I have any problems, in the past I have stood up to their tactics and won before.
