Yeah garages haven't grown as cars have, so if you have an older house a 2 car garage isn't exactly always going to work. Sounds like you have a decent solution. I've just never had a car that "needed" a garage, or that honestly I gave half a crap about. I had a jeep when I was 18-20 and that was my other most favorite car (not to disparage my minivan, I do love it - just in a utilitarian way). But I've never had a car like this Camaro. I think about it all the time! Gotta protect her!

I don't have a ton of room to work with but I may consider adding on a single bay to the side of the house beside the garage and widening the driveway if it's possible. It may be pricy though because I would not trust myself to build it myself. It doesn't need to be heated or anything just big enough to put a car in.
