The LT1 in the 2016/17 camaro is essentially the same as the one in the corvette, which they have had longer to play with.

The stock bottom end tends to be pretty good up to about 650rwhp. The fuel system on the Camaro is good up to about 600rwhp. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but upgrading the injectors basically need upgrading the fuel pump system, which is driven off the camshaft, so upgrading the fuel system gets real expensive real fast.

The most cost effective hp upgrade is a supercharger and most of the kits get you to around 580-600rwhp.
Going NA you end up spending almost as much and get to about 550rwhp. Bolt ons do almost nothing $/hp wise.
