Yes, I did get a response from PM'ing GM CS on here. I have an open case with GM's Exec Office so they made note on the case. I've been providing them with information and pictures and such, and my Camaro is going back l to the dealer tomorrow.
I know I know, but look, I want this problem to be resolved, and I'm trying to do whatever I can to help GM find a resolution. I really don't want to take a hit on depreciation if I went the Lemon Law route. Had I known this was a problem before purchasing, I probably would have something else. In addition to 1) the fogging, they are also going to take care of 2) the recall on I4 and V6s with the engine fan/overheating issue, 3) the dashboard speaker on the driver's side goes in and out, and 4) the latch to access the back seat on the passenger seat is loose and won't pop back in.
I have just over 800 miles on my car.
Vtirocz- it's on the outside. Yes, wipers wipe it away, but it almost instantly fogs back up. So some mornings, when it's dry out, you're driving down the road with your wipers on because your windshield is half-fogged.
The sad thing I really love this car. But the fogging and everything else, really? And it's not a "first year new platform" problem, because 2017 owners are reporting the same issue. My service adviser told me one of the service guys with a Buick is having the same problem apparently. GM, you know this is a huge problem. Don't let it become another ignition problem. Just want this fixed.
