dont get me wrong, if i could fix it with separating the fluids over dropping the trans, I would do the same.
We agree, the combined reservoir is not normally the origin of the dead pedal and other issues. Its actually nice to have the extra fluid of the combined reservoir because it takes longer for it to become dirty enough to cause issues. With a separate reservoir, you have much less fluid and makes it quicker to contaminate.
