" no remote detected"... Ok; I gave a guy a ride around the block and then let my wife drive "her" car home... OOOOPPPPPS... Remote was in my pocket. As several posts said; she was able to drive it home and when she turned it off it chimed a couple of times and "said" " no remote detected".
I understand why the car should NOT cut off when out of range BUT my wife started the car again with no remote. That doesn't make sense.
Most of the replies here have mentioned other cars: not relevant: I'm waiting for Glen or somebody to give a more complete answer to this "oops" situation.
