This is going to be interesting for sure. Even on Gen5 you were pretty much limited to wheels/tires and some exhaust before getting in to some serious $$$$ for weight loss. I mean, you could gut the interior some, but it made the DD aspects kinda crappy with heat/noise and creature comfort.
I know it can be done, but I think it'll hold the same like Gen5. Wheels/Tires will probably be your most cost effective in terms of weight and since it's all rotating, you'll feel/see the best returns. Followed by lighter two-piece rotors.
You might save some on dump the manifolds, but I don't know if it'll offset the headers for $$$ you could just throw in to more power, better traction or handling.
With our redesigned rear 5-link, there may be better options now for tubular or such to drop weight while increasing performance.
EDIT -- almost forgot about warm weather folks being able to swap to a Braille battery for a fairly decent weight loss. No good for those of us in actual winter areas though due too poor CCAs.
