If an option is on limited constraint, the likelihood of a dealer to being able to use an allocation that includes something on constraint is directly related to the number of allocations the dealer is awarded: large volume Camaro dealers will have more chances than a dealer who sells relatively few.
Allocations are vehicle line specific. A dealer who sells a hundred trucks and four Camaros a month will be awared a hundred truck and four Camaro allocations the following month.
There are methods a dealer can use to increase allocations, the best known being taking allocations other dealers decide to let go.
