I also said that I love this car as is. Realistically when I stop and look at what the 2LT/RS is as a car. It's a perfect daily driver sports coupé. I have a RWD, limited slip differential, manual transmission, 3400lb, 335 hp sports car that handles beautifully in the corners. It brakes well and does 0-60 in a bit over 5 seconds, and it hits over 100 mph in the 1/4 mi.

What's not to love with all that? This is a great car and a great drivetrain combination.

I'm watching "what's my car worth?". There is a 1967 corvette 427ci V8 that has a claimed 435 hp and it only states a 5.5 second 0-60. To think that my V6 camaro is quicker stoplight racing is crazy!

I think the RS V6 camaro has become the equal to the BMW 3 series coupé in performance.

The V6 camaro is a well balanced sports car that should be earning a lot of respect. I am starting to feel that this car will eventually get that car guy respect. Like the Nissan 240sx (silva). Once the 1LE V6 hits the circuits I think a lot of people will be surprised.
I am 100% happy with my car. I rarely get an opportunity to really enjoy what power it has let alone another 120 HP.

I do live just a few miles from the fastest NHRA track in America, Heartland Park Topeka, and they do have test and tune every Friday evening. For $20 you can do as many passes as you want.

I ran my Mustang on that track just to see what it could do. I will eventually take my Camaro there to see what it can do. But that isn't a weekly thing for me. If I did want to go there every Friday I would absolutely want an SS even if I had to buy it used.

I bought my car more for just having a car that I think is cool, for having a car to cruise around in on nice days, having a car I can park at cruise night while I admire all the custom cars, and having a car to travel in once a year.

I said it before and I will say it again, if I could afford another 10 grand I absolutely would have bought an SS, but I have absolutely no buyers remorse for getting my V6. I am very impressed with it's performance and it fits in my budget.

My Mustang is on the left. I am absolutely certain my Camaro will beat that. My Mustang was a V6 automatic. It was 200lbs heavier than my Camaro with 30 less horses AND it had 2:73 gears
