I'm having dealership remorse. I miss my car.
I had a little remorse spending the money on my 6.2 silverado, and granted this car was almost 10k less than that, but I don't regret the purchase a bit.
I would disagree with those saying you can't use all that power on the street. Maybe it's better to say you shouldn't. I get all those horses down on the road in regular intervals. Outside of 2nd gear there could be some serious legal consequences though.
The cold start sound is definitely the best way to start your day.
It's all an equation. The amount of money you are able to responsibly spend on a car, the way you drive, how much performance you want out of your car are all factors. Certainly don't go over your head and underwater in huge car payments you can't afford, but I would never not buy the v8 as long as it's an option. Also i'm not big on chargers.... hennessey does a reasonably priced (for the amount of work involved) 600hp naturally aspirated engine package that's on my radar.
