CAI does not guarantee any of that. Assuming there are legitimate pressure drops and/or thermal issues with the factory intake there can be improvements made. However just because some vendor creates a CAI does not mean it was properly engineered to remove the factory pressure drops and not induce its own. Nor does it guarantee better thermals nor does it guarantee your tuning won't be skewed due to MAF issues. Not one person on this forum has shown a quantitative representation of pressure drops in the factory intake. And certainly not one vendor has show they have eliminated any such pressure drops.
Stop putting so much faith into the vendors. You have Mishimoto creating parts for parts that have ZERO history of being deficient or a problem. People will buy anything out out there because it's new or different.
