It's not all that loud, and not like anything is really "clanging" in there. But it is something I notice every time. Just curious if everyone else has it too (manual transmissions).

Hmmm... I don't notice any of that on my car but perhaps I'll pay close attention being that you and Kaiser have noticed it. The clutch is not as forgiving as the one on my 2010. The clutch on the A6 tranny is way softer and it doesn't grab the gears as high. Actually stalled the car first time I drove it as I was pulling out of the dealer delivery bay... Dope!
