I just want MRC, HUD and NPP on 1SS M6. HUD is not an option on 1SS and the rest already cost ~$2500. So, if I can get the 1LE package for $5K, then I won't mind considering I'll be getting recaros and e-diff. But yeah, I neither need them nor am I gonna be driving the car to its potential for any of these to even matter.
In your scenario it sounds like the 1LE may be worth it to you since you are only really after the MRC and NPP. For some folks they will compare the 1LE in the $45k range to a 2SS in the $45k range. Then you have to consider if you want to give up the creature comfort stuff like Bose stereo, leather ventilated and heated seats, blind spot monitor memory seats, heated steering wheel, dual zone AC, etc. The argument for many is that they will make use the ventilated seats and Bose stereo more than they will an E-diff, assuming you don't really plan to track the car.

There are also many folks here that would gladly pay $50k for a 2SS 1LE if they would offer one. Creature comforts and track pack, which is what I had in my GEN 5 2SS 1LE.
