True and I agree.. I know real world numbers factoring driver experience, conditions will play a role with different times.

However, when a magazine such as Motortrend/C&D/etc provide numbers, those numbers should be as good as possible. If Motortrend tested it the car in a very high DA, inexperience driver, etc.. they will lose credibility.

Most folks (I have too I will admit) will use numbers from big magazines for references since they are trusting that these cars are being tested by good drivers, professionals.

Well this is supposedly somewhat of a fresh engine and kudos to them for explaining that they tested a previous manual SS that ran 12.4.
