I'm using 91 in my Stingray (same engine as SS) with no issues, gas is expensive enough don't waste more money than you have to, on 94, if the car isn't calling for it.

Don't forget the obvious, we're driving sports cars, if fuel economy is a major concern for you, you should have bought a sub-compact.
