I just swapped from my 2013 1LE and the new SS feels much smaller, lighter and quicker right away when you start driving it. The interior is much sportier now, like a fighter cockpit. The 1LE package addressed the handing and amazingly made the car a track star. If the Gen5 were a 280lb offensive tackle then the Gen6 SS is a 220lb running back. Lighter, leaner, quicker, more tossable all come to mind.

One side note, as we know visibility has always been a topic of discussion with the Camaro but I think the forward visibility is improved in the Gen6. It has to do with the dash and the styling effect they created as it flows toward the passenger side. The only folks who will appreciate it are Gen5 owners. It is hard to explain but the dash in the Gen6 feels lower to me on the passenger side than it did in the Gen5. You can kinda of see it here, it feels like it slopes down on the passenger side but it really doesn't.

Also note the Corvette look of the hood from the driving position.
