Guessing you mean the performance exhaust which is from my experience open on start up. The exhaust valves close quickly quieting the exhaust.
This has nothing to do with exhaust valves, which by the way should NEVER stay open 100% of the time unless you want a massive destructive collision with a piston..........which is bad.
